Victorian era bloomers are antique and quite literally dripping with lace inserts and tiny rows of perfect pleats.
The attention to detail, the lovingly chosen fabric, the painstakingly accurate stitches, the tiny pleats that are perfect in every way, the delicate lace and the overall feel of the fabric make these antique pieces of our history quite endearing.
Whether used as a display piece framed behind glass or folded neatly on a bureau with the lace peeking out, there is just something so very special about these Victorian era garments and all women do so adore them.
Antique cotton bloomers are off white and feature a single, original, mother of pearl button at the side of the waist for enclosure. There is a small tear in the antique fabric at the bottom of the side opening (pictured for accuracy).
The lace itself is the icing on the cake and I shall allow the images of this Victorian garment to speak for themselves.
Although not without issues, this pair of antique bloomers is truly exceptional due to all that delicate lace.
