I loved making the bedding for this cute little doll crib. The crib itself has a bar that goes up and down and works very well. It is made of wood and painted white. The white paint is scuffed and chipped, adding to it's vintage sweetness. The decals on one end are in good condition, but there was something else....a name perhaps, that has been removed. You can see the spot where it used to be.
This baby doll crib stands 6 inches high and it is 5.5 inches across from edge to edge.
The inside is 10 inches long by 5 inches wide. An 8 or smaller baby doll would be perfect.
The quilt I made is called a patchwork quilt. I used 1930's and 40's reproduction fabrics for the colored squares and muslin for the white squares. The back is also muslin. I hand tied the squares with yellow yarn.
