Beautiful silver sugar tongs from the Admiral Line ships dining room from the early 1900's.
This a wonderful Americana memorabilia piece. The stamped insignia that says Admiral Line above and PSSCO below is on one side only. The maker's name, International Silver Co. is stamped on the inside. If anyone knows what PSSCO stands for, I would be happy to hear about it.
This sugar tong weighs 1 ounce or 28 grams. It is a bit over 4 inches long and 5/8s of an inch across at the widest place. This piece is in excellent condition. It is shiny and smooth with no scratches or dings.
This sugar tong would make an excellent gift for the collector or for yourself as well.
