These 4 plates were made by Anchor Hocking in the 70's when fondue parties were the rage. These plates are shaped like a clam shell and have 4 divisions built in. That way the sauces stay put and don't touch the food in the center. Or they can be used for relish treats at a party or for a yummy seafood dinner. Wouldn't they be fun to have for that seafood dinner.
These 4 plates are in excellent unused condition. Only the box shows wear from storage. These plates sit perfectly flat on the table because Anchor Hocking designed them so well. The plates measure 10 inches across or 11 inches when the handle is included. And, they are heavy, each plate weighs in at 2 pounds. They have ridges on the bottom that come up to a scalloped edge. And, they are frosted glass. So mid century. You will love them.
This vintage glass sea scallop plate set would make a wonderful housewarming or wedding gift.
