This beautiful dish is a beaded or paneled grape pattern by Westmoreland, with colors of pink blush painted on the grapes, and green and gold leaves on brown stems. The grape vines are drifting down the sides of each panel and are painted like pretty scenes. The white milk glass beads run up and down on the corners and along the edge of the lid. One pink grape cluster lays on the top of the lid.
This is a square dish, like a box, measuring 3.5 across each panel at the top and 3.5 inches across the dish. With the lid on, It measures 5.5 inches from the table to the top. It measures 2.25 inches across the base. This dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is very clean inside and out. The inside of the lid wears the incised Westmoreland mark and the bottom has another grape cluster with leaves without color.
This would make a darling container for a vanity and would store all sorts of make up necessities. It would make a lovely candy dish and/or a perfect trinket dish with lid.
