Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

"AngiesList Gets Ready to Launch Ecommerce Storefronts" by AuctionBytes

Oh this could be fun!!! Angies List for Vintage!!!!

I just read this great article from AuctionBytes about Angies List setting up a new way for businesses to have a storefront via their site.

This could be really big. I know many people that use that service and it's a great way to make sure you are dealing with reputable people.

I have not tried it (Angies List just in general) but if anyone signs up for it let us know!

AngiesList is working on an ecommerce storefront service to help local businesses reach consumers who are looking for ratings of service providers. Purchasing directly on AngiesList makes customers feel more secure, according to a marketing video the company produced - and it gives businesses an opportunity to upsell additional services to the customer. A company spokesperson said AngiesList is still working on the "My Storefront" offering and would have more to say about it when it announces it "sometime this year."

This is so funny...I was just watching the commercial the other day and thinking that they really should be involved in the online community.  Great idea!

Like Better Business Bureau for the e-commerce world!:)

It's weird, they must be doing a marketing blitz or something, I almost never watch TV, but I keep seeing her commercials this week and today I was behind a car that had a round decal on the back window that said something like "Angie's List approved contractor award"

The decal is a great idea! They are very smart! So if they go ahead with this online storefront then you can get a decal TOO!!!! ;)

Now I am seeing their commercials nonstop!!! Too funny!

I just went to the Angie's List website and noticed they list antique dealers. I wonder if they all do repair services or is it for shopping also?
