Couroc of Monterey

This is Couroc of Monterey barware. I've written a blog about it here on Vintage Village, as well as on my own Deer Path Vintage blog here. I had every intention of copying it to this discussion but I couldn't bring the links and photos over, so rather than start all over again, I hope it's okay to just send you over there to read it! Thank you. I'm hoping I can spend more time over here now. Had a big project that took a lot of time, but days are finally calmer. . .

I am not a seller, not even a collector, but I have a zebra tray that has been in storage a while. It's over 40 years old, but it is in great shape, except for some pinkish stains on parts of the white stripe areas. I have tried soap, alcohol, windex sprays, and it lightened up, but it is not gone. Does anyone know what I can use to remove the stains safely. I am tempted to try fingernail polish remover, but I am afraid it will remove the beautiful surface shine. Thanks for any help.
