Hi all,

I have a couple of questions about my business Page.  (Keep in mind that for now my business Page is trying to reach 25 Likes so that I can customize the Facebook URL.)  I've noticed that other Pages that have Liked my Page are not part of the Like Count.  Only Likes from personal Facebook accounts are included in my Like Count.

Does anyone know if Page Likes are really included in the Like Count?  And if they aren't, would some (not all) of you consider Liking my business Page under your personal account?  Not everyone who would like to Like my Page has to but if the count is only considering Likes from personal accounts, it might be a very long time before I've reached the 25-Likes goal.  Of course, any Likes on my Page - business or personal - will be sincerely appreciated and I'd like to reciprocate either with my business Page or, like, under my personal account, your choice.

Like, thanks much, everyone!  ;-).

Yes I just checked switching from biz to personal on Cathy's new vintage anything page and it seems that if I like a page as me, then their like count goes up but if I like them as my biz page, then it adds them to my list of favorite pages on my biz page but their like count doesn't go up!

that is a blech as I really do prefer to use my biz page for biz stuff so that when I read the news feed for each, it is separated!

Alley Cat Lane, I just liked your Facebook Page using my personal account.

My other sites that I listed don't have a Like button.  They were just for "show and tell."  :-).

Cheri's Shops,  I agree!

I noticed what the counts might be doing and not doing sometime last week.  That's why I Liked your Page using my personal account so that it would increase your counts.

I do now receive your messages on my personal Wall as well as on my biz Page.  That doesn't bother me at all and, like you, I'd prefer to keep things separate.  But, I thought I'd mention it so that others setting up their Pages can know what to expect.

I see it. Thanks! I'm up to 13.

I'm not sure if everyone knows this or not, but when a business page "likes" your business page, for some reason it doesn't register a new "like."  It only registers if you "like" a business page with your personal account.  That may only be true if you have both a personal and business facebook page tied together (since that is what I have), but I'm not sure about otherwise.

I'm going to try to go back this weekend and "like" everyone again from my personal page so it will register in your count!

Oh, and also, if you want to "like" posts on a person's page or make a comment, you have to have "liked" them - I hope that is not as confusing as I think it is!  In other words, for the number to go up on the counter, you have to "like" a page from your personal account, but to be able to comment or "like" a post or item on someone's business facebook page from YOUR business facebook page, you have to "like" it through your business page too.  I do wish Facebook would fix this glitch!

Leesa (waalaa)

Although likes from business page are not included in the count, they are included in your list of likes.  I do my likes from my facebook page because I have found that some people post very frequently each day and it becomes difficult finding the messages from friends on my personal page.
