Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

I want to know how much my Dufonte Lucien Piccard antique watch is.

My great grandmother gave me a gold wrist watch that has 6 genuine rubies and 20 genuine diamonds and i would like to know how much the watch ids worth. It is still in the original box and has all the papers. I have looked all over trying to find the price and none of the jewelers in my town will give me an answer. If there is any way u can help me please let me know.

If you need a valuation for insurance purposes, you can pay a jeweler for a professional appraisal.

Otherwise, there really is no way to know the value ...

Hi Lexi

are you able to post a photo of the watch? and also more details on what is on the papers or box about it?

That may help us find similar

I had a vintage Lucien Piccard watch with interchangeable faces that sold for a very nice price on eBay once, so I would think yours may be worth quite a bit

Searching eBay for items like it can give you a ball park figure for what others are asking. Also pictures would be a big help. If you need help with that just yell. :)

At the moment, no i can not post any [pictures. I let a friend borrow my camera. On the front of the watch it says LP Dufonte diamond collection. Inside the box has the original price which was $199.95 and says quartz underneath the price. It also says geunine stones inside. Then it has a letter with it. i do not have the watch with me at the moment but the letter says something about it beingthe most highly skilledtechnicians make it so that it is a marvel of elegance, percision, and beauty. for generations to come specialists have been contributing their utmost to the fabrication of Lucien Piccard watches. The result is a supuerb degree of perfection. As i said in the post it has 6 rubies and 20 diamons. the rubies are placed in threes above the 12 and below the 6 on the watch. Then there are 20 diamonds going around the face of the watch and it is an oval shape. I believe the band on the watch is 14 k gold but i am not one hundred percent sure. i will post a picture as soon as possible
