Keep in mind the sample is from MY preferences so you will see less unless you checked off every possible box there is... lol ;)

Hmm while I do not miss the constant spam of email I was getting before and I do love the way the digest is laid out compared to digests I've gotten from other sites, what I am finding is that I am on the site a whole lot less because by the time I see that somthing has been responded to there's been a lot of other activity.

Is there a happy medium at all? Like choosing to digest somethings but getting emails for other things?

I must admit I'm asking before looking so if it's obvious I'm sorry!

Well it depends... :)

If there is something you know you want to follow you can just follow the thread.

I personally feel like it's better to customize What you want to receive as opposed to getting the digests because you are always late to the party like you mention. If you go into your settings you can really cherry pick what notifications you get and eliminate a ton of stuff and just get the things you want... :)
