Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Unmarked Poppies plate.

Has a D. signature. Is this possibly a Pickard plate or any other help appreciated.

10 5/8 handle to handle. Mark in second photo.

Thanks. Sandy

Makes me think of  some Austrian Poppy plates I once had

very pretty :)

Thank you Cheri.

What is the difference between The Vintage Detectives and Researchers to the Rescue? I just realized they had 2 groups here for identifying.

The researchers group is private, more geared for sellers and the Detectives is for the public looking for help to identify items... :)

Looks German --see similar example:  http://www.jz-rose.com/For_the_Home/item/777107E

Or maybe Limoges?  It's so lovely!!!!

Thank you for the link. It is similar.

I have done quite a bit of research on this plate and probably will just list it.

I have looked at the names of Pickard artist and cannot find if one just used a D. There is one whose name starts with a D but..

I find Pickard and similar quite beautiful and am always drawn to pretty antique Porcelain.

So Austrian, German, Limoges or Pickard plate?

Thanks for the link, Sandy!  I didn't know about Pickard!  I will save it for future reference:)
