The Vintage Village

Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Welcome to The Vintage Village....

We are always thrilled to see new members... :)  We really see our site as more of a Community then anything else. We began as a Gathering Place where anyone who loved Vintage, no matter what part of the world they were from, could simply come to hang out with friends.. both old and new! :)

Our site is completely Free to Join! Think of us as a resource for all things Vintage.

In addition, we also offer a “Premium Membership” Promotional Service to any member who is a seller of Vintage Goods.

Whether you are here to shop for the perfect vintage item, research, share stories or promote your Goods…. Come say hello first and tell us a little about yourself.

For detailed information please go to the Member Info Center located in the Group area. You will find everything you need right there… and if not… just ask!!! :) We are here to help.

Hi,

Thanks to Pamela,(Pacesetter Eclectica) on Bonanzle, I joined today. I sell new and vintage items. I have lots of vintage hankies listed and more to list but had a little set back the summer. Hopefully I can get more listed in the fall. I also sell vintage and replacement dishes in my booth on Bonanzle.

Bonanzle is the only place I sell any more and love the friendly atmosphere on that site. I think visiting on here will be great too.

I have a shop on ETSY, selling a variety of vintage items that I have collected (or inherited) over the years. I also sell altered art made with vintage paper ephemera.

Hi my name is Belinda.. I am a friend of Loras from highschool altho I am fairly sure she is more vintage than I am. LOL My husband and I collected a pretty good sized assortment of vintage and flea market finds in the 11 years we were married without kids. We have everything from bobble heads, to hand sewn baseballs, to comics books, to American seating company, what must be original armchairs , that are way too big for our tiny house! I LOVE VINTAGE and my house can only be described as eclectic in decor. We have slowed down since we have had kids and my daughter who is 15 is really against me bringing in " dead peoples " things.. go figure.. My sister did that by giving me a beautiful antique standing floor lamp ( i know they have a name but it won't come to me right now) from a funeral home that was closing down after 100 years and saying in front of my daughter " imagine how many dead people this shined over". To me it is not dead people things at all but someones life.. but explain that to a teen. I will ignore my daughter need be, but our collecting has slowed down, and I would love to learn more about what we have history wise. We sort of just collect what we love. I am so glad Lora invited me here.
Hey Girl... :) If you need to research anything.... just let us know... use this section to ask us about items you want details on.

Hi everyone. What a great site! I can't believe I didn't find it sooner. I have an antiques & vintage shop on Ruby Lane. We have a little bit of everything vintage and antique including jewelry, porcelain, linens, glass and vintage designer accessories just to name a few. Please stop by and see what we're offering. I add new items weekly so there's probably something for everyone.

Hello, Everyone I just joined an hour or so ago after seeing Linda's Shop Talk. I have a shop on Ruby Lane and on Ruby Plaza called Alley Cat Lane. Hope this site will be a great resource for me to increase my knowledge and to help promote my shops. Right now I feel a little overwhelmed, so please bear with me as I learn my way around. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Carolyn
Welcome, great having you here. This is a great place to learn, to teach and to help. Many great people are here who share what they know. So glad you joined
