Hello and Welcome! We are always thrilled to meet new members... :)
About Us
The Vintage Village is comprised of many features that all revolve around Antiques, Vintage & Collectibles, but we really are more of a Community then anything else.
We began as a gathering place where anyone who loved Vintage, no matter what corner of the world they were from, could simply come hang out and share that love. We have become a simply amazing community... but we have evolved into much more then that over the years... :)
Our Community always has and always will be absolutely free to join.
If you sell vintage, you can also take part in our very successful and wildly affordable Premium Membership (a.k.a. The Diamond Club) which is a promotional / social networking service.
Whether you are here to shop for the perfect vintage item listed here in our Photo Gallery or shop via our Express Lane or whether you want to do some research, share some stories or promote your goods, come say hello and tell us a little about yourself right here in this welcome thread... :)
For detailed information please go to the Member Info Center located in the group area. You will find everything you need to know about our Village right there. If not… just ask!!! :)
Also visit our FAQ page for a quick overview.

Permalink Reply by Rich Brown on June 18, 2012 at 1:12pm Hi all, just thought I'd say hello as I've just joined, this looks like a great site. I run an online business called AntiqueandUnusual which is basically what it says on the tin...I keep an eye open for Antique and Unusual things to sell. I'm based near Bath in SW England.
Anyway, the other day I was at an auction and I bought a bit of a 'lucky dip' box of stuff, mostly antique toys and games but what's got me stuck is a load of antique clothing for dolls and a very tatty doll. The doll's head, shoulders and arm (one is missing) are a sort of wax material whilst the rest of the body is stuffed material. Can anyone give me any advice on what age / make etc this is...?
Many thanks,
Rich

I love Bath!!! last visited there in 1999. Used to live in the UK and do miss it so much.
For help with the doll, I suggest you join our antique and vintage dolls group and ask there http://thevintagevillage.com/group/antique-vintage-dolls

My name is Chantal, I am a returning member to TVV. After an absence of a couple of years where I've gone through some changes, I now have my own website where I sell vintage jewelry and fashion accessories. I no longer am on any other venues. I do plan on becoming a premium member again but the question I have is, am I allowed when I post my pictures to add the link of my items directly to my website? I'm a little confused about this.

Hi,
Thanks to Pamela,(Pacesetter Eclectica) on Bonanzle, I joined today. I sell new and vintage items. I have lots of vintage hankies listed and more to list but had a little set back the summer. Hopefully I can get more listed in the fall. I also sell vintage and replacement dishes in my booth on Bonanzle.
Bonanzle is the only place I sell any more and love the friendly atmosphere on that site. I think visiting on here will be great too.
