The Vintage Village

Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Hello and Welcome! We are always thrilled to meet new members... :)

About Us

The Vintage Village is comprised of many features that all revolve around Antiques, Vintage & Collectibles, but we really are more of a Community then anything else.

We began as a gathering place where anyone who loved Vintage, no matter what corner of the world they were from, could simply come hang out and share that love. We have become a simply amazing community... but we have evolved into much more then that over the years... :)

Our Community always has and always will be absolutely free to join.

If you sell vintage, you can also take part in our very successful and wildly affordable Premium Membership (a.k.a. The Diamond Club) which is a promotional / social networking service.

Whether you are here to shop for the perfect vintage item listed here in our Photo Gallery or shop via our Express Lane or whether you want to do some research, share some stories or promote your goods, come say hello and tell us a little about yourself right here in this welcome thread... :)

For detailed information please go to the Member Info Center located in the group area. You will find everything you need to know about our Village right there. If not… just ask!!! :)

Also visit our FAQ page for a quick overview.

Dorothy... I have to say that your items are just the most exquisite laces I have ever seen.

The best advice is to Socially Network in as many ways as your schedule will allow.

There is so much to selling online that you really do need a community of people to help you figure it all out.

I am in Philly so maybe a bunch of us can meet. We have always talked about having some kind of event, maybe it's time to begin planning it.

Wow, thank you so much for the compliments!  I have lace everywhere, and so much more to image and get up on the web.  Whew!  It's time consuming!  But I really appreciate your feedback ;)

As for meeting, I think that sounds like a grand idea!  If you need help planning it, let me know!  I would welcome the chance to get to know like minded people ;)

(((hugs)))

Hello new friends!  Thanks for the very warm welcome!  It's really made me feel at home already ;)

I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 24 years.  While I always loved to teach, it's  been a long time dream of mine to share the antique lace, vintage patterns, and sewing antiques I've collected with the world.  The grand opening of Chantilly Dreams was July 1st ;)  It's been a slow start, but I believe it will succeed ;)  I hear it usually takes a little while to be  discovered in the World Wide Web!  I am still trying to figure out all of this SEO stuff, and have managed to install Google Analytics on my site (how cool is that??? ~ the analytics I mean?)  If anyone has any pointers, I would love it!

I have a favor to ask...can you "like" my FB page?  I am trying to get to 30 likes so I can see their analytics too, and spread the word.  You can find me at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chantilly-Dreams/293455874054016.  It would mean so much to me!  Thanks in advance!

In my personal life, I live with my hubby, who invents drug molecules ~ legal ones that is ;)  We are owned by two Yorkies and a Maltese.  We live on the North shore of Long Island.  Anybody local?  I'd love to meet for coffee!

Well. I guess that's enough about me for now...please do drop by my page.  I'd love to hear from you!

Yours truly,

Dorothy

Hi everyone!!!!

Thank you Vanity Flair Vintage , CheriShops - Admin ,and The Pink Poodle Vintage Clothing for welcoming me! Gee I was surprised haha.

I think Im going to like it here!! Any how, I am just a small time seller, Ive always collected vintage clothing and when I got fed up with my job decided to give it a shot online. Things are going well but I would like for them to be better.

So Im here looking to gain knowledge! I also corrected the link to my shop so all should be working now. I just started using Market publiquehttps://shop.marketpublique.com/active_auctions.php?user_id=8465 and have many items vintage and non on eBay http://myworld.ebay.com/kohaku_queen.
