Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

The March 4th issue of  Time Magazine  featured an article titled Premium Aged: The Online Vintage-Shopping Experience Finally Hits Its Stride.

No mentions of any of our marketplaces, however. These are premium online shops with their own websites.  A few of them require registration before you are able to really check them out. They are quite high-end and feature only clothing and accessories.

A lot of their items appear to be barely vintage.  Only one mentions the fact that the items are at least 20 years old.  The rest don't state age limits, so to speak, at all and seem to be more like glamorous re-sale shops.

Here are their links, if anyone wants to look them up:

Here is a link to the Time article, but you have to be a subscriber to read the full thing.

Wow, I have been online since 2002 and have never understood why I rarely see any independent shops for vintage.

I have never even heard of the ones shown. Odd.

They aren't your run of the mill vintage, by any means!

I wish I could see the rest of that article without buying a subscription!  Anyone here a subscriber?  I don't deal with a whole lot of vintage clothing but I would like to point out ~  not all Thrift stores are smelly!!
