Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Question from Klaus of Scandinavian Vintage:

I would like to hear something about video marketing - is that something you've tried and got some experience with ? I just uploaded a small homemade video that I shot in my office today, the link is here. And of course I'm hoping to generate some traffic in that way? any tips and tricks is most welcome :-)

Personally, I haven't tried making videos yet - would love to hear from some of you who have! :)

By the way Klaus, I liked your video a lot - accent and all! :)

I posted a video for my handmade jewelry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6rLffAudX4&context=C48d5d8dADvj...

The problem is that it takes about as much promotion to get the video seen as it does to have your shop seen.

Thanks Mitzi :-) Well there's still plenty room for improvement I guess.... buying better equipment, keeping the camera still, improving the speech and so on. Well, you gotta start somewhere, right ? Have a nice weekend.

I would love to use video for my vintage camera shop, but can't figure out what I need, as in,

what kind of camera?

Does it have to be a dedicated digital camcorder or can I use my computers camera? My cell phone?

It's so confusing and I haven't found a "Dummies guide to..." for digital video ; )
