Volunteer Group Leaders Wanted
Hi Gang.... :)
So if anyone would like to help me out with the site a little by running a group I would really appreciate it. :)
All the position requires is that you supervise the group in a general manner. Look out for Spam and disputes and to alert me if there are any issues or problems. I will be here also but only in the background... :)
In addition I would like to see one piece of content added each month that relates to the Groups Topic.
The content can be a discussion thread or an article or piece of information to keep the group active and engaged. I know that folks are really strapped for time so I don't expect it will take more then maybe an hour of your time once a week. Consider it a way to "Network". Each time you add content or do something here, it actually will be just one more way folks will find you and your shop :)
As payment for the position I will give you a free featured member spot. I will also list you as one of the group leaders with a link to your " My Page".
I will give you the ability to edit certain aspects of the group so you can tidy up old threads or mistakes etc., :) I would also like to see threads of interest get Tweeted and sent to FaceBook to get promoted bringing traffic to the site. Also maybe spend some time inviting folks to join. :)
We can have up to 4 people running a group, with each person taking one week to oversee it.
I am flexible so let me know what works for you if you are interested.

Here is a "Quick Look" list of Groups. Some of these already have Leaders. We can have up to four leaders per Group.
Look at the "Sticky Notes" Section of each Group to see who the leaders already are.

I want to emphasize a point that I hope you take advantage of..... :)
Whether you are a Group Leader or NOT.... every time you add something to the groups, whether you begin a new thread or even just Reply to it... you are now promoting yourself because it will end up in a Google Search or some other search engines results as a result of folks looking for information.
The more info we add and the more you participate ... the more traffic VV gets and the bigger the presence on the Web we have. :)
So help out in these groups when you can and have fun doing it!!!! :)

If you're still looking for Group Leaders, I would be happy to lend a hand with the Vintage Jewelry Group. If being a group leader requires knowledge of the subject matter, it's probably the only one I'm somewhat qualified to assist with. :-)

If you still need group leaders, I think I would enjoy being a leader for the Ruby Lane group. I follow and contribute to this group regularly. Having been an exclusive RL shop for 8 years, I feel I have something to offer, especially to shops new to RL.
