Curling iron?

A "stretcher" ? I think. Weren't these used to stretch the fingers of leather gloves or sumthin' like that? My vintage ole brain knows I have seen that before but just not sure now!

Sugar tong

It does appear to be a curling iron. But my funny sense of humor says its to pluck the hair from the noses! :0 Sorry couldn't resist.

Sugar cube or ice cube tongs

Glove stretcher,  for sure now! :0)

I agree with CheriShops - it is used to stretch the fingers of dress gloves

Yup...me too...Cheri nailed it (no pun intended)...glove stretcher..

Right on glove stretcher

If both sides are of equal length, then it would be a glove stretcher.  If one side is shorter, then a curling iron which would have had a curling iron stand.  Can't tell from the photo.  Priscilla
