The Vintage Village

Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Hi Everyone!

Since we began in October of 2008, we have received so many wonderful messages that from time to time, we would like to share these messages with you.

We want folks to know that what we are doing is working and we want you to hear that from other people... not just us!

If you feel like we have helped you either with research or with your sales, we would be very grateful if you let others know about it in this thread. :)

We want you to be confident that our system works and by hearing what others are saying we hope to inspire you. If we are not doing a good job... tell us what we can do to improve.

Oh.... and we also have cake.... who's first... ;)

The Vintage Viillage is definatly my favorite information center.

Although I don't participate on the forums much, I find they are full of information I would never have known about  with out them. I've learned a great deal just hearing what others have to say about this or that. I think Lora (and staff) sacrifices a great deal for all of us and I for one  appreciate their hard work and everyone else that puts their energy and time into this site. Mary

I absolutely agree!  When I first joined VV, I was incredibly new to literally EVERYTHING - selling on line, selling AT ALL, Vintage, Vintage Jewelry - everything!  I have gotten such incredible support from Vintage Village and Lora and Jane - as well as the entire staff!  So much personal attention, which is amazing considering the size of this fabulous group!  Vintage Village provides a forum to share great information, helpful hints, with friendly folks willing to answer questions or share their knowledge, which was especially helpful to a "newbie" like me, and is still SO helpful, even though I am not so "new" anymore!   I have found no other place like it for support,  information, advice and promotion of vintage!  Thanks so much!

Since I already added to this dicussion on how I feel about TVV, it is still the same. This is the best place out of all the ning sites. TVV has come a long way since I first joined and its all for the best. Lora and her fellow helpers are the best. They go out of their way to help you promote your business and to teach you newer and better ideas for your business.

There is no self-promoting here like there is elsewhere, and where can you go for a few dollars for 6 months to advertise your business, its unheard of. I know and you all know that TVV advertises this place all the time and without promoting herself like others do. So this is my second testimony for TVV and probably more will come down the road :0)

Thank you! I edited your post, Jane is not here any more but Mitzi and Cheri and Mary are here helping and YES... lots of 12 hour days for little to no money. It absolutely is a labor of love or we would not do it!!!

You are just too sweet, Lora!  I absolutely credit a great deal of my success and knowledge about vintage to The Vintage Village.  You have always made me feel so "at home" and at ease, and I thank you so much for the atmosphere you have provided here!  I sing your praises to anyone who will listen!  LOL

XOXO

Leesa (now gimme some cake!)
