By default, your My Page automatically takes the theme and appearance settings of the network.
You can change the theme and appearance of your own My Page.
To change your theme, go to your My Page and click the "My Page" link underneath your profile photo.
You'll be taken to your My Page settings page. Find the Appearance section and click the link to begin making changes.

You'll be taken to an Appearance page just for your profile. In the top portion of the page, you can browse through the themes currently available and test them out on your My Page.
You can further customize your page's appearance by changing the font and colors of the theme you've chosen. Select the theme you'd like to customize and scroll to the "Now, make it unique" section of the page.
You can drag modules around (Photos, Groups, Profile info etc., ) by hovering over the module until you see your cursor turn into a four sided arrow. Use this to drag the module into place. If the module is not permitted into a certain section, you will see a circle with a line in it like a do not enter symbol.
To make additional changes to your page's appearance, you can add your own CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets. With CSS, you can make changes to your page's appearance that aren't available in the built-in theme settings page. If you're interested in learning more about CSS to customize your page, we recommend checking out W3C's CSS section and downloading Firebug to experiment.
To restore the default settings to your My Page, just click the "Apply (your network)'s Theme" button on this page. Click "Save" at the bottom to activate your changes.

Permalink Reply by ElsiesAttic-Admin on April 18, 2012 at 2:18pm I looked at you page and I would suggest changing two things about the appearance.
I would drag the module (box) for the pictures to the top of your page so it's the first thing folks see. :)
Second I would go into your text box and add a little about yourself and add links to your FaceBook page and Twitter account etc.,
If you need help doing this, let us know... :)

Permalink Reply by White Deer Trading Post on April 18, 2012 at 5:38pm what is the module, and I tried to drag the picture s up but all I did was change the pictures. WWhen I chage the colors it looks like crap and some combinations I can't read. I am no good at designing

Permalink Reply by White Deer Trading Post on April 19, 2012 at 10:58pm I monkeyed with my page, got the slide show to move, but that is all I can do. I can coordinate the colors, it either looks like crap or I can't read it. As it is it will probably drive people away

Oh, HERE you all are! I'm playing with My Page and can't get rid of the Vintage Village header. I know there must be a way to do that, but I don't see it in "Customize".
Also, I've tried to add the Etsy Mini again and it's not working. I can't even upload pictures from my computer. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out what it is. (I'm using the Image button on the editor to try and put pictures up and using the HTML button to put the Etsy Mini on my page. I grabbed the html from Etsy for my page but nothing happens.
Any ideas? Anybody?
Thanks so much, Mona
Okay, I saw on here how to drag modules so my scrolling pictures are at the top and I figured out that I couldn't add a photo because it was too large. I sized it smaller and now it's there. But I still don't know how to get rid of the Vintage Village banner (Sorry, Lora, it's quite lovely, it's just not me. . .)
Thanks again, Mona
