Advertising on Ruby Lane pages?

Am I going crazy or did I just see an ad on my Ruby Lane "modify items" page for Cabelas?

I didn't see any on mine either. Maybe there was a glitch at that point in time???

I saw it when I modified an item. I'm so used to seeing the ads on facebook that I usually just block them out. But it was there, across the bottom of the page. An ad for Cabela's Unless I'm going crazy....hope not..I've got too much to do...

You should NEVER see an advertisement on our pages. No where on the site.

Didn't mean for that sound so terse. Was trying to convey there would be a catastrophic melt down from the top down over here on our end. :)

I understand that. It filled the tan bar at the bottom of the page where all the links to the Ruby Lane stuff are.

Ok...First I think I owe Ruby an apology, but...the ad is there again. but...it says to the effect it has something to do with my page rank extension with Google....I blocked it from showing on my Ruby Page..I've never had it happen before..sorry for panicking...

I've never, ever had it happen on any Ruby Page before..I've tried to do research on how to "opt out"...I cannot find the magic button to "opt out"...I'm frustrated and a bit "pis...d off". I have no idea how this happened...

Carolyn, are you using Google+?

I have heard from others that using + can start doing weird things...one of the reasons I am avoiding it!

Yes, Cheri, I do use Google +. I feel it's a valuable tool in promoting my Ruby Lane shop...so...I try to be aware of what I'm agreeing to, but I guess this slipped by. I don't have time now to hunt for hours for the "opt out" button. I'm just grateful it's me and not Ruby Lane starting advertising. I didn't think they would, but I had to ask. Thank goodness for this forum where we can get it aired out right away.
