"Your Exclusive status and the date you joined Ruby Lane are still on
your shop's home page, they have just moved. If you will please go to
your shop's home page, and look in the left side menu, just above your
name and address, you will see the 'Exclusive Ruby Lane Member since
Jun 2009'."
I swear it wasn't there before.
I also don't really like the placement. I'd like to see it up at the top. Nobody is going to look over there for it.
IM(notso)HO.
Happy FRIDAY everyone!

If you're an Exclusive shop and you are not happy this is no longer indicated on your shop home page along with the date you were established, then please send your comments to Ruby Lane customer support. When you click on the crown, then you see your shop exclusive status. I understand why you would prefer the information be displayed in a promote location on your shop home page. But, this needs to be communicated directly to Ruby Lane via customer support.
Thanks, Carol
Permalink Reply by Ruby Lane on June 3, 2011 at 2:49pm Hi!
This happens to me all the time. If you put the link in and a pic 'does not' appear, then you have to wipe out the comment box and start over. It can be really frustrating, I know. But this one is on Facebook, if I could fix it I would. :(
Permalink Reply by Ruby Lane on June 3, 2011 at 2:52pm weird I keep trying to edit my comment above and it doesn't update
to charmed life, when i say you have to wait for the pic to appear I mean 'before' you hit the share button, if all you see is the text info, then you have wipe out the comment reload the page and start over, pain pain pain

Permalink Reply by Ruby Lane on June 3, 2011 at 7:24pm Yes you can respond to it, but because I handled it, it will come back to me, so send a new one so it goes direct to cs...

Permalink Reply by ElsiesAttic ~ CEO on June 3, 2011 at 8:50pm I have been having the same problem with trying to edit here Carol! Now that I know there is someone else experiencing it, I'll report it on the glitch thread.

Permalink Reply by ElsiesAttic ~ CEO on June 4, 2011 at 12:54am Hi Lora
the inability to get the edit to submit is happening within that 15 min default time. The last time it happened to me, I checked and still had 7 min left.

Permalink Reply by COBAYLEY on June 4, 2011 at 11:02am Yikes !!!
I just went to Ruby Lane's Facebook page to post one of my items ... I used to be able to post a "link" and that link would include an image of the item ... now it does NOT. It just has a text link, no image.
I'll write to Ruby Lane and ask about this.
I haven't tried posting a link to Ruby Plaza's Facebook page, yet.
I did try and post a link from Ruby Lane to The Vintage Village's Facebook page, and again ... no image.
Anyone else have this experience ????

Permalink Reply by Cybermogul Dolls on June 4, 2011 at 8:38pm The new pages and pictures look small to me too - my workaround is to hit CTRL and the + key changing the zoom level to 125% or more - but all web pages and text will be bigger too!

It''s OK...but, I still don't like the layout....I'm on my laptop now and at home the PC is the same...the format is in the middle of a big white screen.. And no, my computers are not old. They are new...the laptop, brand spanking new...Windows 7...I've tried with Chrome and IE9...so...I guess I'll just lope along with all this stuff in the middle of the page...bit white bars on either side...
Thank you again for all your help and support.

Ruby Lane said:Hi Carolyn,
Another shop owner wrote in asking the same question. Here is the response given:
We now have standard size screens so they are consistently the same size regardless of the size of the monitor you are using.
Here is the information from the note we sent out:
NEW FIXED SCREEN SIZE AND REMOVAL OF FLASH
We've moved from a dynamic screen size to a fixed screen which accommodates most computer screens. This allows our designers to work with a fix width layout to create pages that look the same on all computers. Most web sites are now designed with a fixed width.
You could write to customer support and see if you can get any other information. And, you could try adjusting the settings for your monitor but I can't say if that will make a difference or not. I am assuming no. It fits my screen, so I don't have the problem. I am working from a laptop, so the screens tend to be smaller than a regular monitor.
