Anyone else experiencing this message this morning?? Wanted to get my listings up early and find I cannot get into my shop or on to Ruby Lane at all. So annoying. I am beginning to wonder if the dramatic drop in number of visitors, let alone sales of late, is a result of these intermittent, frustrating outages on Ruby Lane.

Permalink Reply by Carmel Collectibles on June 11, 2012 at 10:11am Yes I also got the message. I was on there late in the night and it had no problems. I also got a message that was new this morning at 1:40 AM that I had something new on my sites wish list. Wonder if too many people got the message and made too much traffic on the site. Is that still possible. It was a notice I have never gotten before.

Permalink Reply by CheriShops - Admin on June 11, 2012 at 10:25am Carol posted that there would be a site outage at 6.30 am today Pacific time that would last for around 15 min so I guess it has lasted longer than anticipated?

Permalink Reply by CheriShops - Admin on June 11, 2012 at 10:26am here is the link to her notification...I did not get it as an email from RL tho, which IMO they really should notify their shop owners by email...not everyone checks here.

Permalink Reply by Ruby Lane on June 11, 2012 at 11:22am Hi, Yes, the updates are completed. Normal maintenance related stuff. It only affected certain parts of the site. It lasted about 30 mins instead of 15. I posted it here as a courtesy to the group. We generally don't notify folks via email when an outage is going to be early in the morning and for a brief period of time, but I will forward your suggestion to the RL upper echelon about notifying folks via email even if it is going to be a short event. Everyone should check the forums every time they log in to their shop. That is where you will find the most current information about the site - events, news, site updates, and other good stuff. All is good now. Thanks for your patience. Carol
