Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Green Listing Day Is Friday, April 20th

Every day is Earth Day at Ruby Lane! We're celebrating Earth Day, Sunday, April 22nd, by offering our shops a Green Listing Day ahead of time.

Green listing day begins on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 12:01am, Pacific Daylight Time and ends 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time. All items added to your Ruby Lane shop during this period will only be charged 10 cents instead of the normal 30 cent listing fee (5 cents for Charter Shops). 100% of the listing fees will go to support the World Wildlife Fund.

Your Ruby Lane account must have a positive balance of at least $1.00 to participate. Items listed on this day will be included in the count for regular maintenance charges if they are still listed in your shop on May 1st.

There are many ways, both small and large, to be more environmentally friendly. We at Ruby Lane launched our "Ruby is the New Green," campaign on Earth Day 2009 to reduce our carbon footprint o n mother earth. We view technology as an opportunity to do more with less: less paper, reduced commuting and travel, less energy consumption, and use of less space.

We encourage you to make every day Earth Day, and celebrate this special day on Sunday, April 22nd.

Together we can make a difference!

Carol,

Just wondering why the free or reduced cost listing days on RL are usually on Fridays?  That is the best day for estate sales in my area and I am usually out most of the day and don't get a chance to list much on Fridays.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa, I don't know. I never really paid attention to the 'day' they were offered. I will ask and see if there is a reason or ? ? Carol

I'm pretty sure they are mostly on Fridays.  My preference would be Tuesday or Wednesday, if anyone is asking :-)

Thanks, Carol, I'll be interested in the answer.

This Sunday is Earth Day so for this Friday would be closest to the day.

I recently attended a workshop on how to recycle stuff. Interesting stats on how many people actually do recycling.

I am very glad Ruby Lane does this every year. Every bit helps. Kudos to them.

Springtime always makes me want to Spring clean and donate stuff as well.

Have been listing to take advantage of this.
