I just attempted to go to the RL site, and received the following message: "Oops, our servers are too busy right now serving other users! Please try again in about 10 seconds. " I hit the refresh/reload, only to get the same thing. Since then, the site seems to be as it should be, but I don't know to what degree others (especially shoppers) might be receiving the same thing.

I was trying to answer a question about an item and got the "too busy" message earlier today also. I was finally able to respond to the question, and it did result in a sale. But still, since the site was just moved to improve server speed, the busy message is worrisome.

Permalink Reply by The Old Grey Mare on December 2, 2011 at 2:25pm Yes, same message, while S-L-O-W-L-Y trying to add items to the Red Tag sale. Remember that old commercial about Excedrin headache #267? I've thought about that so many times since this change started, Ruby Lane headache # whatever. I will say, that without the Vintage Village, and all the posts and information, I would have likely pulled all my hair out by now. It's not fun, but at least it's nice to know you're not in it alone....The Old Grey Mare

Permalink Reply by Cybermogul Dolls on December 2, 2011 at 2:43pm Me, too, please. Pages are slow to load. New items seem to be taking a long time to show up in the shop, add 9 images but only 4 or 5 are visible. Also getting Servers Busy message off and on all day.
Permalink Reply by Mainely Glass on December 2, 2011 at 2:52pm I don't think we are going to get any help here today. Carol said she was out of the office today.

Permalink Reply by CheriShops - Admin on December 2, 2011 at 2:54pm Yes, Carol has a much deserved day off today.

Permalink Reply by Suzy's Timeless Treasures on December 2, 2011 at 2:57pm Here you go, Cheri and Dexter, passing along the Excedrin! Not too many left in the bottle!
Same problem about an hour ago when I was trying to get in to Manage PO's, although a sale came through right before that.
That new item delay freaks me out. All that work to list an item and then I can't find it in my shop for a while!

At this point, I think it's the site that's needing the most help.
As Donnah mentioned, the move was purportedly made to address these types of problems. Yet, we continue to be plagued by a seemingly never-ending train of site issues -- all during a time of year that's historically much busier than what I've been seeing...
Permalink Reply by Marni Bakst on December 2, 2011 at 3:15pm I never found the servers too busy to serve before the move. And I never had any trouble loading pics either.
Permalink Reply by Flashback Alley on December 2, 2011 at 3:32pm I thought it had corrected itself, at least for me, since the last few things I've attempted to do haven't resulted in any snags. Unfortunately I just got the message AGAIN.
If I'm ready to walk away from the computer at this point out of frustration, I have to believe that shoppers are having the same type of response.

Permalink Reply by CheriShops - Admin on December 2, 2011 at 3:50pm It is sporadic. But seems to catch me every time I hit the add item button ):
I just got back in long enough to connect with Live Support who assured me Tech is very aware of it and working on it. They need the approx time when it is happening so for anyone able to, do let them know that.
