You know Lisa, I always wondered about that too....I couldn't come up with any rhyme or reason for what was in temporarily deleted.

maybe it has to do with your re-listing it again if you have another one????????????? Just a guess :)

 I just read something about this the other day on the forums.  Here's what the 11/21/11 entry under Quality Assurance has in part:

"Specifically, shop Manage Transaction data is now only maintained for a period of 12 months. After 12 months, data in Manage Transactions is automatically transferred to Temporarily Deleted status where it will remain for 90 more days, after which it will be permanently purged from the Ruby Lane site. 

Temporarily Deleted data can be accessed by clicking the "Change to display Temporarily Deleted" link at the top of Manage Transactions. "

When I remember to do it - a big IF - I have started maintaining a file copy of my listing info.  Then it is never gone, and since I might re-buy a piece that has sold, it has saved me some work on listing the newest version.

Thanks!  I need to read those forums more, I forget to check them.

Great idea for keeping a file copy but you are right, it's a matter of how much time I have to just get new pieces listed.
