Can a Canadian RP seller send to auction on eBay.ca ?

Here a question received from a shop owner and our answer:

Q: E-bay Canada recently had a 10 cent listing day. I tried to add items to Ruby Lane and then to send them to the auction however only the Ruby Lane page popped up, not the e-bay page. I tried again selecting E-bay.com and it seemed to work. I assume then the problem is e-bay.ca however would like to be able to take advantage of their promotions. Can you tell me how to proceed.

 

A: You need to select 'other' and not 'ebay' and enter the full web
address - http://www.ebay.ca . The truncated URL 'www.ebay.ca'
will not work.

http://www.ebay.ca/ will take you to the eBay Canada home page, where
you can click on Sell and use your Ruby Lane data to complete the form.
