Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

When I modify my items on Ruby Plaza the writing is tiny in maintenance on them. Is it just me?

You are able to revise?  You are able to list?  Be grateful for what you have.  I can't list a THING.  Currently setting up new shop elsewhere.  Can't do business if I can't list items.  What a HORROR this has turned out to be.

Jenny. I do not know what to say. I as a dealer that has been online for 10 years this  next month I  have endured scenarios that affected my business to the point where I had to move to another venue. I do understand your angst with this.

I see you opened in May 2010 and have over 800 items on Ruby Plaza. I am very sorry. Truly.

The level of ticked (to put it as unoffensively as I can) off that I am is not definable because it is immeasurable.  Almost TWO YEARS of my time and massive effort WASTED on what has become an unusable site.

It's not the first time something like this has happened and it is looking more and more like all of the venues are identical - none of them give a crap if you can't view their site because they did an update - they can't be bothered writing truly clean code - if most of the people can see it - GOOD ENOUGH - the rest can eat cake.  It's collateral damage.  To heck with them.  They are not THAT important.

the letters show tinier than this size.

Hi Sandy

I just tested a few and am not seeing any changes in letter size....just slooooooooowwwwwww

So if you go to an item in the backroom and then move it to for sale at that point right after you push modify you do not see tiny letters?

ah ok now I see what you mean....I thought you were referring to the actual item listing text...but yes, the text for the various shopowner functions has definitely shrunk!

Just as well I have bifocals ;) or I would struggle to read that!

Thank you for contacting Ruby Plaza Customer Support. The site is
standardized and the size of the type has not changed.

If your view of the site is suddenly smaller, it is most likely due to
your browser window settings. Simply enlarge the View within the
browser window to see Ruby Plaza at full size or larger.

We offer the best customer support available online.

Thank you for using Ruby Lane.

I have my font set at Times 16. I am seeing about an 8 or possibly 10.

I think perhaps Becky needs to be linked to this thread so she can see it is not just you Sandy!!

I am here at work on a completely different computer, network and browser and yes, it is still smaller!!

I had sent an email in and this is where the first answer came from. I chatted and she now sees it so it is going to tech.

All are tiny on my modify items menu. Thanks Cheri.

I really wish CS were not so quick to always come up with the "it must be your browser/computer/ISP etc"  before they first check on these things....I mean this is not an actual problem per se...tho it could be for those of us with less than perfect vision...but they do this so often too when the issues are legit site problems!

vent over lol but it really has become a kinda generic CS reply!
