It doesn't seem particularly useful - can anybody who actually uses Pinterest on their phones put in on this?

I use pinterest all the time - I think it is great - I do believe it has increased traffic to my shop and has created a sale or two.

Hi there

we were asking if the new layout looks better viewed on phones :)

I think it is generally agreed that it is a good source of traffic.

I am quite curious  - as a new Pinterest user.

Do you link to your shop items with the prices included - using Pinterest as a marketing tool?

I do Marie...I have only done very few boards...I include a variety of items from other shops too, as well as a few of my own, with prices attached

Well I can't even get to my boards on my phone (using Opera Mobile on an Android) so I can't see if it looks better or not.  But then I'm pretty dumb when it comes to "smart" phones.  Maybe it would work better on DH's tablet?  At least there'd be more screen to work with.

Holly. One of the advantages of the price is your item ends up at top under Pinterest gift drop down box. Though for some reason it is sporadic as to some items ending there vs. others. May be traffic at the time overload.

I have found that few of mine get there.

Have to wonder if it is too much self promoting

I was curious about Daisy saying Pinterest had increased traffic and generated some sales for her ????

Would love for that to happen for me

Sales have been very slow lately

Marie

Well, when I pin one of my items I get likes and repins - but so far none of the items I've pinned has sold.  But the more eyeballs the better!

I found a link to this article  about Pinterest in my email yesterday

Interesting with the Narrow and Deep information

I also find it helpful to search on Pinterest for certain topics relating to what I am selling - and when I see the results it helps me to choose a board topic

bumping this up for those who may have not added their Pinterest pages yet

Here's mine for 2Hearts Jewelry/D'Anne Brownell.  I mostly have vintage jewelry plus other boards of personal interest: travel, books, food, home improvement:
