Permalink Reply by Jan Story on March 21, 2012 at 1:23pm It doesn't seem particularly useful - can anybody who actually uses Pinterest on their phones put in on this?
Permalink Reply by Daisy Antiques on March 21, 2012 at 7:45pm I use pinterest all the time - I think it is great - I do believe it has increased traffic to my shop and has created a sale or two.

we were asking if the new layout looks better viewed on phones :)
I think it is generally agreed that it is a good source of traffic.

Permalink Reply by Holly Lane Antiques on March 21, 2012 at 9:41pm I am quite curious - as a new Pinterest user.
Do you link to your shop items with the prices included - using Pinterest as a marketing tool?

Permalink Reply by CheriShops - Admin on March 21, 2012 at 9:50pm I do Marie...I have only done very few boards...I include a variety of items from other shops too, as well as a few of my own, with prices attached
Permalink Reply by Jan Story on March 21, 2012 at 9:55pm Well I can't even get to my boards on my phone (using Opera Mobile on an Android) so I can't see if it looks better or not. But then I'm pretty dumb when it comes to "smart" phones. Maybe it would work better on DH's tablet? At least there'd be more screen to work with.

Permalink Reply by Holly Lane Antiques on March 21, 2012 at 10:06pm I have found that few of mine get there.
Have to wonder if it is too much self promoting
I was curious about Daisy saying Pinterest had increased traffic and generated some sales for her ????
Would love for that to happen for me
Sales have been very slow lately

Permalink Reply by Holly Lane Antiques on March 21, 2012 at 11:05pm I found a link to this article about Pinterest in my email yesterday

Interesting with the Narrow and Deep information
I also find it helpful to search on Pinterest for certain topics relating to what I am selling - and when I see the results it helps me to choose a board topic
