Twitter has changed to like a timeline thing. I cannot even figure out how to tweet.
Anyone have a clue? Why can they not leave stuff alone?

With limited time to spend on social media, I've been trying to figure out Google+, Pinterest and a few other things these past few weeks, so have neglected Twitter. Big mistake. I did just go to the "regular" Twitter page and saw there have been some changes, as you say Sandy. However, as I've said in the past, the Twitter page doesn't allow you to manage the Twitter experience, to see everything that is going on, to have columns for your interests, mentions, and searches, as do sites like Hoot Suite and TweetDeck. I suspect that the original Twitter page is trying to integrate different features, to try to make it more user friendly for those who use only the Twitter page to connect, but you will never have the full Twitter experience unless you download a different format. As close as I can tell, neither TweetDeck nor HootSuite have changed their format, I just checked both.
Permalink Reply by Charmed Life on February 13, 2012 at 6:32pm I use Tweet Deck, exclusively. Love it.

Permalink Reply by Graceful Shops on February 13, 2012 at 6:55pm I get lots of traffic from Twitter and use it alot. That is why I need to figure this out. I do not even see the box or blank to add my tweet. I am able to tweet from my shops but it is not the same.

oh. I see it is on the left instead of on top of other posts. good grief.
SLOW, baby steps. I thought it was not going to work for me, but the things I thought they changed/left out ARE there...just need to look for them.
I think, as with anything else, we will ease in to it. FB, at least, gave us an option. Stuck in my ways, I've kept mine the old way, where others have changed. I have no choice to learn it if I am going to view it.
