Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

2011 has come and gone and now it's time to reflect on the year. As we all look back at the good or bad why not share with us your favourite glass find of the year.

I think one of my favourites has to be this gorgeous Thomas Webb Rock Crystal Vase. Isn't she yummy!!

I love this Deco Sowerby satin uranium glass so much that it is staying in my collection.  ;-)

Oooooh that's purdy!! I found a nice Bagley Satin Uranium bowl that's in my collection :)

My favorite find is not just one item of glass, but a whole museum,Duncan and Miller Glass. I spent two hours there are was lucky enough to win a drawing for two Canterbury champagne glasses. Joanne was a perfect host and I got a wonderful education in glass. I joined their glass society, and the meeting of the month is on oil lamps. I am so lucky that I am only about 40 minuets away.

Sounds fabulous Susan. I love Duncan and Miller glass. My favorite find this year. I think they are adorable and am keeping them.

Those are too cute. I love them. Are they for sale?

I got a terrific education in oil lamps last night. It was wonderful. Now I am really excited to plan a tour in April to the Ohio Glass Museum.  History of Glass Industry, Glass Blowing on site, and a special exhibit of flowers, baskets and frogs! This tour is presented by the Three Rivers Depression Era Glass Club Society.
