Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Hi everyone..

I know just about zero when it comes to glas, but I have these wonderful sherbert glasses and would love to know how to describe them.   I also found it very difficult to photograph the design and quality of the glass.

They have a delicate pink cranberry color from the base to the lower part of the bowl..  also a quilted design around the bowl and tiny little dots at the base.   Gilded gold around the rim and base.

Any help would be appreciated,  thanks

Anne

I don't recognize them Anne but they are gorgeous!!!

Definitely include "optic" in the description...I would say diamond optic...as there are a lot of optic glass collectors.

I also find that a lot of people use the sherbets as champagne glasses, so you may want to  include that in the description too.

That is of course if you are going to sell them rather than keep....I would find it hard to part with such lovelies :)

Simply beautiful, I would hate to depart with them also.

Here is a forum that you can ask them, possibly they may know it. You do have to become a member, which is free of course.

Cheri, thanks for the info.  I also posted them in the glass group on Facebook and was told the same .. diamond optic and saucer champagne stems.  I couldn't resist buying these as they were so pretty, the pink is rather delicate  and I have 14 of them !!!   Do you have any idea price wise on what I could list these for ?   Might keep them  for a bit though, to admire LOL

Thanks Anne

Thanks Barbara, I will check it out !!

I've sold similar at $20 a glass Anne but that was some years back and the economy is not quite the same now.....but, just consider what cheap mass produced glass sells for in a discount store nowadays!! so these are def worth at least $18 each IMHO

Hello Anne!

I'm like you...I don't know alot about glass, but I do know they are gorgeous! I would hate to sell them! Take care, Diane :O)
