Good VitC fiber and antioxidants growing on trees what am I?

I have a new found love and hobby thanks' to a great Christmas present we received in the mail about 5 days before Christmas.

We got this strange looking "puff ball" kind of thing in a box.  Set up the moisture tent, misting daily and wha la:  Shiitake mushrooms!!

Yesterday, New Years day, was our first harvest!  Unbelieveable.  I have NEVER tasted a mushroom with so much texture, firmness and flavor.  They are actually sweet when fresh.

Started doing some research (of course!) and discovered some great facts about the health benefits and long long history of medicinal use of Shiitake mushrooms.  I'm sold!  Here's a great site:

Of course there's many more sites too.  Because we have a pretty constant temp. in our house and love growing plants... the little guys seem to really like it here!  What fun.  Now I need to learn a good technique for drying them.  Maybe it's finally time for an herb dryer!  Oh boy... another revamp to our kitchen remodel plan.
