Everyone's photos and furry kids are great....I have really enjoyed looking at them:) We have three new additions to our family. Frazier was rescued along with his litter mates in Sept. when they were about a week old...mother was no where to be found. Daphne (long hair) found us in Nov....she was about 8 weeks old and just appeared on our doorstep. Martin ( orange tabby) is another rescue who we took in a month ago. It has been quite a houseful with three kittens and what fun!:)  Lorie

Having a wonderful time looking at everyone's furbabies!!  Lorie, the kittens are impossibly cute:)  About a month ago this HUGE kitty just suddenly adopted us--we think she is part of a local feral litter from a few years ago and that a neighbor was caring for the kittens and vetted them.  Phil was sitting outside on one of those unseasonably warm nights around 1:30 a.m. when this kitty literally jumped in his lap.  Whoa!  She gave him constant head butts and just wanted pets and lovin's.  I woke up and was out there in the middle of the night loving on this gorgeous cat.  So...we started to feed her and she comes around every day to see us, of course;)  She doesn't like being inside but when she comes in periodically she makes herself at home, as you can see;)  The Bassets treat her like game and give her a merry chase, bellowing after her, poor thing.  I believe she's Main Coon and the friendliest cat I have ever seen, and I've had many:)   She seems extremely healthy but just to be on the safe side, as I have a male indoor kitty, I must take her to get checked for feline AIDS and FeLV.  Just wanted to share--I'm calling her Smudge (because of her gray patches:)...

I'd be glad to show a picture of my soul mate, Shadow.  He's actually my granddog but he lives with me.

He sure is a great guard dog.  Even Santa can't get in without a special invitation.

Shadow is stunning!!!:)

Such a great thread!  I loved seeing everyone's "kids".  It's so funny how you can see each of their own unique personalities just from pictures...I smiled the whole way through:)

Here's Howard (at top) and Chauncey (whom some of you already know) - They are two peas in a pod.  Howard is a rescue from the horse farm and Chauncey is my 3rd golden (I am a golden lover through and through)

As usual Molly wedged in between me and a body pillow. Some mornings all that can be seen are four legs sticking straight up.
