What is SteamPunk... ??? :) The best way to describe it is the Victorian Era gone Punk with science fiction and fantasy thrown in .... :)

It is very trendy and hip and people can get deeply immersed into the Genre' even dressing up in the fashion. Let's share links and pictures dedicated to "SteamPunk..."

Great discussion. I had never even heard the term Steampunk until I was browsing a site of ning themes and there were lots of newer themes in this genre. Afficianados of this area are a great outlet for those who sell reusable, repurposed items and elements. I thought the look was a bit dark and menacing at first, but now it is starting to grow on me LOL.

Went looking through my storage "stash" of what to do with it items and found 4 clock mechanisms chock full of wonderful gears and doodahs just perfect for steampunk art and jewelry projects. Now to figure out how to market them :)
