Laundry Help?

I love this dress. Is it a goner? Underarm stains? 

If I attempt to try what should I start with? 

Bought it years ago on auction and misrepresented to me at the time but I did love it. so....

Well, since you'd have to throw it away anyway...start with cold water detergent and just soak the area that's stained. Then, if that doesn't work, try one of the laundry stain removal products. If that doesn't work go to Oxyclean. That's usually my last resort.

I think I may of read once that oxyclean will eat gold thread. I am scared. I guess I am going to have to just jump in and see. thanks.
