Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Need help with this set. I was thinking early 1970s due to the color but the box looks possibly older.

Any help appreciated. I have tons of cufflinks. Does anyone know a good book for them?

Little works of Art.

The box is marked Sears under the set. I have 3 sets. Was it a store brand of some sort? 1970s?

Not certain about the Sears marking, but these were popular in the 1960s and they would be described as mesh wrap-around.

A fabulous book on cufflinks is Howard Bell's "Cuff Jewelry: A Historical Account for Collectors and Antique Dealers".  He describes the different eras, materials and it is filled with great images.

Thank you. I also have a blue set identical. The Sears mark is not on the cufflinks but under them in the box.

I found  information that may be helpful in this Collector's Weekly article.  Just expand it to find the area about Sears.

Apparently, Sears had companies make jewelry for them, and Sears used their own "Tradition" brand.  That would explain the marking on the box, but not the jewelry.
So, I would think they could have been made by any number of companies.

I think this style may have actually started late 1950s, so I would just mention they were made circa 1950s - 1960s for Sears who sold them under their own brand.

Thank you so much. The color of the green avocadoish is why I was leaning more 1970s. I will change my listing. Appreciate it greatly.

The color on my monitor looked more like a gray.  Avocado was a 1960s color also, so I think 60s would be correct.
