Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

Hi there, quite a few years ago I looked in my local newspaper and felt I had to buy 2 twin boy dolls that were advertised there.  So I did and they are really sweet, but I don't think they really are twins because one is brown skinned and the other is white skinned.  I think they are just that way to show that people are the same, no matter what their skin colour is.  Here is a photo of them, and I was wondering if anyone knows their origin, or could point me toward how to find that out.  I have googled but not found anything close to these dolls.  They don't have any manufacturers marks on them at all, and they are anatomically correct.  Regards, Star Wise

they are soooo cute!
Are they vinyl or porcelain?
Thank you. They are vinyl, and they are special to me. I am a twin - I have a non-identical twin sister. My sister looks quite like me though and people used to confuse us alot, especially when we would change our hair-styles around to the others. Also, when I was a child, I loved dolls and my favourites were a brown coloured vinyl doll until I lost it, and then a cloth doll called "May" because I made her myself in the month of May. She had a candy heart with "I love you" inside her stuffed body.
