I grew up in the 60's and I think that was the Hay Day for Board Games. My favorite Board Game was without a doubt .... CandyLand!!!

History of the Game
Life brings back memories!!! We dont have one though so we are on the lookout!!! Have many others though to list since we love toys!

I remember playing Life, Monopoly and Battleship the most.
I do not have the Life game anymore. Not sure what happened to it.
But my parents still have the Monopoly and Battleship games.
Recently found the Battleship games at a second hand store. It was the same age as the one we have...so I got it and we were able to actually have the full set now.
Over time the biggest battleship disappeared from our set.
I prefer that way of playing Battleship over the new electronic ones. Granted, it's harder to cheat now, but still :)
We remember Battleship. Havent seen that though in all the sales we have been too so great find!!!

Just found at a sale, Candyland, Pin the Tail, Peter Pan, Benji and we have a ton more to list. The problem is the size of some of the games. Its about the same to ship one as 3 times the cost; you can ship a ton but would someone buy a box filled of old games?
Do you guys know they are making a movie based on Battleship? It sounds like a horrible idea, but then again Clue is one of the funniest movies ever so we'll see...

I don't have any of my board games from when I was little but I loved: Clue, Life, Monopoly, Battleship, this one Star Wars game I had from when the first movie came out so I think it was just called Star Wars. You played as either Luke/Leia or Han/Chewie and the object was who escaped the Death Star first.
