So far, find the site easy to use, but,
The help section is not very good on Weebly, so how do I show what shipping is on the site, or do I include it in the price?
If someone wants to click on the item to buy it, does it go into the cart then they pay for it? How do I know if this is working without purchasing myself.
When an item is purchased, does it show sold? or does it disappear.
Is there a way to preview the site before publishing? As far as I can tell there is not, and this is not addressed in the FAQ or help section.
When building the site, the Google adsense button is showing at the top of the page, can't seem to remove it, will this be there when the site goes public? Can't tell, because I cannot preview
Also, how do I add multiple pictures? Should I just use the picture paragraph element and then add a picture element to it????
ETC.

Permalink Reply by LilacsNDreams on March 20, 2011 at 2:42pm Anytime that I remember using the paypal button I remember it including the price, and the shipping. I made a note about price including shipping that was visible. Yes, a paypal button was created for each item too. If you have a shipping/policies tab...that note could also be included in there.
For help with Weebly...the last time, and actually only time I had to inquire for some help with them so far I did get a response in a respectable time & manner from them.
I do remember in another discussion here about the purchasing an item on there, and what happened with the item as someone else commented about it.....purpledaisy? But, they commented in one of the discussions with weebly.
Sorry, can't answer for the google adsense button....I don't recall seeing it myself.
Most of the stuff I have been doing has been by experimenting with it, adding & deleting with it to learn the way of the site....like anything else done:) I always publish/save stuff, close it, and go back to view it as others would see it. IF I don't like it, then I just go back to my page to click the edit button, and go in to fix what I want done differently.

Permalink Reply by Gizmos on March 20, 2011 at 4:40pm I figured out what was happening with the google adsense button. My window was not opened as wide as it could go, so the button was appearing underneath the other elements, making it look like it was on my page but it wasn't, thank goodness.lolol
If you go ahead and publish and things are really not looking or working right, and might take awhile to fix, can you take the site "offline" while you fix it??
I can get this thing up and running quickly if not for the paypal problem with the shipping.
Also, using the element with picture and paragraph, still will not let you add another photo.
Sooooooo, when I am done listing an item that is basically my "preview". The other site I worked with you could preview everything to see what it would like to the public, before you actually published it.
