Vintage Halloween Recipes
I'm helping a friend with her halloween party and have been looking for some odd theme recipes but can't find any. I got plenty of party food ideas, but none of my books have anything specifically geared towards halloween.

Get creative with the recipes (that's all Halloween recipes really do anyway!).
I have a friend who goes crazy over this stuff.
Deep fry tortellini, toss in parmesan and bread crumbs, served with marinara to dip: Gremlin Ears
Pigs in a blanket - Mummies In A Blanket
She makes a thick sugar type cookie that she rolls into fingers - make deep knuckle creases with a toothpick, brush the stump end with egg white colored red, use a whole or sliced almond for the fingernail.
It's all about taking something normal and giving it an abnormal twist. -
