The Vintage Village

Where Vintage Never Gets Old...

I just set up a shop on Zibbet (Basic membership) and since I also have a shop on Etsy, I was wondering about the listing of items.  I have no items in Zibbet yet.  Those of you who sell on Zibbet, do you list different items there?  Or do you list the same items on both sites?  If so, wouldn't that be a problem if a sale for an item was made at exactly the same time from each shop?  I know there is a way to get 'round it and I was just curious as to how you handle this.

Also, unlike Etsy, I assume that, since there are no fees involved (for Basic membership), you just simply need to put your PayPal email in your setup and don't have to give them your credit card information?  Etsy was much more involved, as I recall, to set up the PayPal information...Thanks for any help--I am feeling rather dense today;)!

Hmm...need to check for sure. I thought I had seen something through discussion about listings on etsy, and not allowed to list the same thing some where else? Please, don't quote me exactly, and check into this rule with etsy, and what they have to say.

I know google does not like duplications, and you need to be careful with that. IF they find you duplicating your listings will be removed.
I myself do have 2 shops...one is with bonanzle & the other is with eCrater. I Do Not have the same items listed in both places. I do have a store with etsy too. But, I have some other things being worked on for inventory that I desire to add to that shop, so right now it is empty.

Yes, it could it always be an issue of items listed at both shops, and it sells at same time too. I would be scared to have that happen, and have a customer be upset about some issue with that. I know there are others who do it, but I just have not desired to do it myself. Would give me more of a headache watching the stores much closer with the double listing:)

Best of luck to you & hope someone comes along to help answer your questions with this:)
Thank you! It confirmed what I was thinking--I have items that I could list on another venue. I have developed such a comfort zone with Etsy though;) Thank you for your input!!
