The Mason's Transferware Pottery Egg Box was produced by Mason's Ironstone of London , England. Mason's produced Stoneware or Ironstone in many transfer patterns and colors. This egg is one of their less seen color in Green with a basket design and fruit which I believe was produced in the 1970's when trinket boxes were very popular. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. It measures approximately 4 inches, so it is a very nice size. It is marked on the bottom "Masons 78 England".
