Opalescent Fern Water Pitcher

The large antique glass pitcher is milk white Opalescent Fern pattern and attributed to Beaumont Glass Co. The pitcher dates to c. 1895 - 1900. In 1895 the former site of the Northwood Glass Co in Martin's Ferry OH was reopened as the Beaumont Glass Company. Harry Beaumont was Harry Northwood’s brother-in-law. Beaumont Glass Works operated there until 1902 when it relocated to W Va.
