Panama typewriter ribbon tins come in a variety of colors.
The surface design of the overhead landscape remains the same,
but the colors are changed. This is, in my opinion, one of the
prettiest.
This one is in good condition. It does have some surface abrasions
that have resulted in areas of paint loss, particularly along the
edges. There is also a 1/4 inch scratch on the top, near the center.
The interior has a few dark blemishes.
Several of the edges, which can be seen in the listing photos, are
wavy (bent). I'm guessing that this was caused by a former owner
attempting to force the tin open. This does make it hard to open and
close, so I would simply display it closed and leave it closed.
It's really lovely and will make a beautiful display collectible.
