I am awestruck each time I watch this lady...part of the fascination I hold for lace is the incredible talent that it takes to create it! I read that at one time in history lace was so coveted that folks would mortgage their estate to own it! Amazing!

Hi, thank you for accepting my friend request =) I really love your photographs. I adore antique lace!
Your antique lace items are stunning.
The wedding set I will be wearing and the cake topper are both 1940's-era. I am now looking for the dress or suit as was typical of the wartime brides. I am a Size 2, so vintage works better than anything. :-) The wedding will be classic black, white, and red accents. I am excited to plan and even more excited for the rings to arrive. I found them through a connection here on VV. Isn't that wonderful!
I am so in love. . . and he is, too. . . we look forward to the dream wedding and future happiness it sounds like you have as well. :-)

Well, we just found the rings. . . so waiting for the official proposal. . . but, yes, planning a wedding. :-) I am so very happy.
Thank you for your congratulations. I am starting a Pinterest Board with wedding ideas, so will add your lovely shawl.
Smiles,
Cassie
