Gilt picture frame heavy molded plaster

Can anyone help identify the approx. age of this frame?  It is very heavy molded plaster measuring 13" x 15" x 3" and weighs 7 1/2 lbs.    A few chips in the surface reveals pink plaster under the gold paint.  It is plaster, not a resin.    The clips which hold the glass in back look like copper.  The cardboard backing is new but the oval glass is old with an uneven and chipped edge.  The frame held a paper art print that looks like it was cut from a magazine, maybe circa 1960's.  But I think…See More
