Welcome to my page on The Vintage Village. I am Dexter Grass, the owner of The Old Grey Mare on Ruby Lane.
Canine and equine antiques are a specialty and I'm always looking for the finest horse and dog things I can find. I have been collecting decorative tins for over 30 years, so you'll always find a good selection of old biscuit, toffee and mustard tins in my shop. But my collections and interests are varied, so there is no telling what I might find, and offer on Ruby Lane.
A lifelong horsewoman, my husband and I own a horse farm just outside Houston, Texas with over 80 horses in residence. He is a horse trainer and judge, while I mostly concentrate on my antiques these days. I travel both here and abroad searching for wonderful treasures, and I have a booth at antique shows and horse shows across the country. I'm set up every Spring and Fall on the back aisle of the Big Red Barn, part of the original Round Top Antique Fair. I love to offer interesting and unusual pieces of quality at reasonable prices. My Ruby Lane shop has just a small sampling of my inventory, if you are looking for something specific, do let me know.
I'd be delighted to be friends on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/dexter.grass or Twitter https://twitter.com/#/DexterGrass

Hi Dexter,
I love your shop!! Equine and Canine art and antiques are some of my favorites : D
Thanks so much for the welcome Dexter. I can't wait to get things up and running!
Thankyou so much for welcoming me to the site. It looks like it's going to be a very enriching source of inspiration. I specialise in vintage brooches but I am a good researcher and can source information on most items. I hope you will add me as a friend and we can share our knowledge together.
Kind Regards
Lynne
THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOME!
