CAROLINABLUELADY Vintage Collectibles has been selling online since 2007, but I have been collecting for more years than I care to admit. My collections include old Carnival glass, Greentown glass, Roseville pottery and yes, Flamingos. My grandmother was a "controlled" collector, but my mother collected everything that caught her fancy and yes, she grew up during the Depression.
Most of my treasures are from my mother's and grandmother's collections. It has been so much fun going through all the "stuff" and finding such neat things.
I am fascinated with the history of old glassware and pottery made in the USA. Currently, I have Avon collectibles and jewelry, depression glass, vintage dinnerware that was sold at grocery stores in the '60s, some early american pattern glass and some vintage ceramics.
I also sell new North Carolina pottery from the Seagrove area and new Joe Rice Art Glass Paperweights.

Mother's Day For A Special Mother

My mother is no longer with us but will live in my heart forever. She passed away September 9, 2008 at the age of 87. She had suffered from dementia with lewy bodies. Her happiness was her home, being surrounded by her "pretties" and her privacy. This disease took that away from her.
