I purchased this most amazing brooch as it is rare and, listed as being Van Dell. Notice the twelve gemstone settings, as opposed to the typical eleven gemstone settings. Pictured is the side-by-side with Sterling Silver Van Dell I've altered with Genuine Blue Topaz Gemstones. While the similarities are striking, there is no Van Dell stamp on the Gold Filled piece. Yeah, it's me again :) I'm really scratching my head lately because I've now seen two Sterling rings both stamped "STERLING LIND" - then - "CHINA" on one and "THAILAND" on the other? You've gotta be kidding me?! What the heck does this mean because I'm thinking it's some kind of stupid knock-off! Grr!
